Mormor came a few weeks back. She took most of the pictures while she was here (which is why there aren't any of her here), and I just went through them. It's amazing what we did in one week. We packed it in! Besides regular appts, school, classes...we went to the park and playgrounds. We made it to the Children's Museum, which is always a hit with the boys. They could stay there all day. On the Sunday she was here, we went to the Blessing of the Fleet Festival. That was a lot of fun. It's when the Priest blesses the shrimp boats. It marks the beginning of the season. There is nothing like fresh shrimp. You drive about 10 minutes to the boats in the late afternoon and buy fresh shrimp. Yummy! Her week came and went so fast. It's always a heartbreaker the day she leaves (and the days after). The kids and I are in a funk that takes at least another week to break out of. Hopefully, we will see her again soon.
