Lukas turns 4

Lukas turned 4 on Monday - December 8th, 2008. My baby! He started his day with hot chocolate and then he was off to school. I made his school friends his fav cupcakes in ice cream cones. He had a good day at school. In the afternoon, we hung low. Hans came home early and we headed to mini bowling. They have an entire room with little lanes, little balls.. you get the picture. Cute stuff! They lasted about 25 minutes, then played some games. After that we were off to NYPD Pizza. The boys love watching them make the pizzas. We ended the day with cupcakes and some presents. He received some many wonderful gifts. That night, even though we told them who they were from..he kept thanking Daddy. The important thing is..he loved it all. After bath, he literally cried b/c he didn't want his birthday to end. I cried too... it was hard to believe that 4 years have passed....well over a thousand special days with him. We are so lucky to have a such a great kid! We are so proud of him! We love you sweet boy!

He has gotten into the super hero thing lately. On Sunday, he told Hans, "Daddy, I am going to play with my super heroes today.. Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Power Rangers and Elmo!" Hans asked him if Elmo is a super hero (he is a nice monster on Sesame St) .. he just looked at Hans like he was crazy. Love the innocence!
